HISTORY

The Hereford bass club was started in 1993. HBC is a non-profit family organization. HBC pays back 100% of all entry fees. Sponsor money pays for permits, door prizes, luck-of-the-draw, advertising, year-end winner plaques, and office services.

HBC entry fee is $25.00 per person, optional trash fish pot ($5.00 per entry...winner takes all). HBC has no dues or membership fees. Participants show up, pay up and o fish.

HBC is operated by entry fees and sponsorship money only.

Angler of the Year at $10.00 per entry

Big Bass of the Year per entry

This year optional money will be put in each pot. Pays out for each entry and winners plaque.

Tournaments start in March and end in October, one tournament per month. Tournament date for the next tournament are voted for at weigh-in.

HBC is advertised on KPAN Radio, www.utelakefishandfun.com , www.tackleboxlogan.com , flyers posted and an appreciative sponsor seasonal Christmas ad published in the Hereford Brand.
